JEWELRY BIT The jewelry bit has a spindle diameter of 5/8", with a unique, thin, disk-like diamond grinding surface less than 1/16" thick. The disk is situated at the bottom of the spindle. This bit is very unique, and as a result of its design, has a very specific use; an alternate method for wire wrapping fused jewelry pieces. The diamond coated disk will grind a small groove in the edge of your fused piece allowing for a quick and easy wire wrap. This groove will hold the wire securely in place without the need to do time consuming decorative wire wraps. MIKA Bits fit all GLASTAR, INLAND and DIAMOND TECH grinders that accept 3/4" & 1" bits.
