Wire Wrapped Carnelian Broach By Lynda Lee Stuck |
| The Carnelian cabochon is wire wrapped in a design by Mavis Llewellyn (CREATIVE DESIGNS IN WIRE)using multiple 20 guage square wires that are bound with 20 half round sterling silver wire. A pin was formed and attached to the back of the broach by wire wrapping. The cabochon was set into the broach and wires were kinked to form claws on the front and back. Classes which contributed to Linda's skills included Approaches to Broaches and New Designs in wire Wrap Bracelets. Linda has studied with Murf Moorefield and Barbara Warnock. |
